Color Schemes

So the Knot napkins got me thinking... I wanted to order them SO BAD but I have no idea what colors I am doing for the wedding. For instance, gold or silver accents? How did you girls pick your color schemes? I have a feeling it will be like decorating a house... you find one piece you love, and build off that... Did you find a bridesmaid dress color you loved and go from there? Or maybe a particular flower? Not sure where to begin. I have a feeling once I see something I like, the rest will fall into place... Just curious.

My hall is completely gold-toned, and I love gold, so I knew I wanted that included in the color scheme. I played around with the idea of different BM dress colors but I love black, it's very classy and elegant, so I decided on a color scheme of gold, ivory, and black. My centerpieces are all ivory flowers with gold hardware, and my table numbers will probably be black.

For The Knot reception things, I did ivory and gold and they came out beautiful. I have the ivory & gold napkins and matchbooks in my album.

EEEK, panicking! I always wanted to have a white, light grey, and hints of blush. Now i'm thinking with the room decor at The Inn, that will TOTALLY not go!! What do you think?

Color Schemes

I was between two colors like a horizon blue and a deep eggplant/plum. I decided on the deep plum. I actually decided while dress shoppig after seeing the color range etc.
our flowers will be the exact shade
Of plum and whte.
Te party will have hints I black as well like the white chair covers with black bows

Are you the one with the ticket-looking escort cards? If not, I've seen them, and they totally rock. I hope we can do that, if it's in our budget.

I originally was going to do ticket escort cards but my rh includes them so I'm just gonna save myself one more diy. I am doing ticket stds though. I think I have a picture in my album.

I was surprised fh actually loved them as well. Idosavethedatemagnets.com they have a code on the website for a free personalized sample.
