Colorful bouquet or traditional white?

Who is going with a colorful bo-k? I think I want red roses...still trying to decide.

I also wanted all white bouqet but at the end I ended getting my bouqet with all black magic rose with a few other kinds of flowers. You should look at the Bouqet thread it has so many beautiful bouqets.

I hope to have red roses and have the bridesmaid carry white roses while wearing red gowns. Sorta doing a contrasting color scheme...

I think the pictures look much nicer with a color bo-K - I did the red roses and was really really happy I did. Otherwise, the white roses can look off white next to a white dress and I don't think that looks good. My girls were in black, and they had a mixture of red and white roses, which I also liked. (but the florist put some green leaves in there which I didn't ask for and I was bummed....)

COLOR! I am having a color bouquet. All fall colors. Reds, burgundy and oranges with some berries.

Kris- it sounds beautiful! Also I love the pic of the red bo-k on this thread. I might bring this one to my florist!

My bo-k will be all roses -3 dozen - yellow, pink, peach, lavender and white.

MOH 2 1/2 dozen - same as mine but minus the white.

BM - 2 dozen - same as MOH

Flowergirls will have baskets with the same roses as my bo-k as well as loose petals.

Here's a pic of mine - this was actually my BM bouquets, but mine was the same, just bigger, with ivory ribbon.

Red roses for me, mixed red, pink, orange,yellow for bridesmaids.

Teri, mine will be almost exactly the same, but with Burgundy Calla lily in it too. Gorgeous!

Mine will be lavender, blue bird and blue curiosa roses, white stephanotis w/pearl center and snowberries with a white satin ribbon w/pearl pins down the the satin.

I have 8 girls and I have 4 combos for the BM bouquets. Only I have stephanotis is my bouquet.
Maid and Matron of honor will carry smaller version of my bouquet w/freesia added

(2) BMs will have lavendar roses, (2) BMs will have blue bird roses, (2) BMs will have blue curosia. All will have freesia&snowberries

I took the hem material from the girl's gowns and had it hemmed into 2 inch wide strips. The florist will wrap their bouquets in it.

ohhh - burgundy calla lily! I LOVED mine - this picture doesn't even really do it justice. They were beautiful, and we got a ton of compliments on them

I did white with a little bit of color. It really looked beautiful. I think white alone would have been too plain against a white dress.

i think i am using this one:
(my girls will be in lavender) I may change the purple of the roses to a lighter purple not sure yet)

I was scared of doing an all white bo-k for fear of it being washed out. You have so many choices.

Guess it depends on your taste, my FMIL sais the color boks are horrible and that a bride should always carry white but she is also from the previous generation and I love the contrast in color so i am going with RED, what do MILs know anyway

I had a bok with 3 different kinds of red roses and black beaty mini calla lillies. Loved it!
