Comfort Inn- Medford- LONG

In case any brides out there are looking for hotels to put their guests up in, PLEASE DO NOT go with the Comfort Inn on route 112, in Medford (formerly the Inn at Medford). I contacted the hotel at least 8 months before my September 22 wedding date to set aside rooms for my guests who were coming in from out of town. They put 10 rooms aside and told me when those 10 were booked, they would allot another 10 rooms. That was never done. My guests booked up about 12 rooms. The 2 rooms over the allotment were charged full price, rather than the agreed upon reduced guest rate. On my actual wedding day, my BM`s told me that they were forced to change into their gowns in the sauna because their rooms weren`t ready. Then, I received a call from the hotel. About 20 minutes before the ceremony was scheduled to begin, they told me that they had given away two of the rooms. We cleared everything up, but they weren`t considerate to the fact that I was trying to get to the church on time. Also, I had hired vans to take my guests to the church and then to the reception. The hotel told some people that the vans were not at the hotel (they were) and so when the vans left, they were nearly empty. And they weren`t cheap!!!!! And finally; I had made welcome baskets for all the rooms reserved. I went through each room and told the receptionist, how many baskets go to each room. Well, they didn`t give out at least 5 baskets out of 17 total! So in a nut shell, they confused all the reservations, kept reservations open when people called to cancel, were rude to my guests, gave them misinformation, and kept at least 5 of the gift baskets that I had made for my guests. I would call that stealing (they never called me to tell me they had left over). I have left repeated messages for the manager and his boss and no one has called me back. I would suggest to anyone looking for a hotel, to use the Best Western on North Ocean Avenue. We used them also, and no one had any trouble-AT ALL.

We Had the Same Problem

First I asked them for cards to put in the invitations. The manager said he would get them in 2-weeks...they never came in. They quoted 4 seperate sets of my guests at 4 different rates NONE of which were the actual rate we agreed upon. This was our back-up hotel so we don't have many people staying here...I am so glad!
