Do you sometimes keep things from FH regarding purchases.(shoes, clothing, bags)...I just realized in the past week I spent about a ton of dough and didnt even mention it to FH (purposely) -

i haven't done that much lately b/c im broke. But there are days where i'll go shopping during lunch or something and come back with bags of clothes and shoes, and since i get home before FH I can bring everything upstairs and put them away. Then when I wear the new stuff FH notices I just tell him 'I've always had it, its been hangin in my closet but I wasnt able to fit in it until now' then I smile and laugh and he walks out of the room cause he knows i'm a liar lol

When we first moved in together...yes. Hid it all the time. Now a days, I never keep any financial stuff from him and vice versa.

No I tell him about my purchases. He's worse when it comes to compulsive shopping. Since we're paying for the wedding he's been very good at not buying stuff, although sometimes I need to remind him.

FH is worse than I am, he buys the most expensive jeans and shoes and gadets. He just bought the Iphone, that bum!!!! He tells me, sometimes. I tell him what I buy sometimes too, but when it comes to expensive wedding shopping I dont tell him at all, hehehe

My FH is the smartest shopper., Im the total opposite....he will buy whateverrrrrrrr is on sale ONLY and I will buy it just to buy it. lol

I have to hide my purchases too. Ever since we got engaged he's been on top of me money wise! I just tell him that I have always had this and just haven't worn it yet or if it's around my b-day or x-mas I say I had a gift card to whatever store I went to!!

If I had the $$ I would probably keep it from him but with saving and the wedding we havent splurged on ourselves in a looong time and probably wont until after the wedding.

I'm not a big shopper, but when I do make a big purchase, I tell him, mostly cause he's into shopping and likes it when I shop for myself. The problem is him, he loves to shop, and he'll try to keep certain purchases from me, but I figure it out right away cause I can see the guilty look on his face.
