Computer calligraphy?

Computer calligraphy?

How many of you used computer calligraphy? Hand calligraphy? Did you have someone else do it...or did you do it yourself?

I did my own on the computer...I think they came out well...but wondering what other people did and why. Thanks.

I am going to have hand calligraphy done by my 2 friends who are very good at it and offered to do it for free to help me out

i'm doing it myself by hand and my hand is ready to fall off!!! i started a thred on the 04 brides list abut this. i am learning a whole new font and it is HARD. but i want the wedding to be personal, which is why i am doing it. but i will scream very soon!!!

i plan on doing everything on the computer myself. i MAY enlist my father do address the envelopes (if my grandfather were still alive i would ask him) because he has VERY fancy penmanship...

I had someone do mine on the computer in the same font as my invitations. I think my font is called Markum. They came out beautiful.

Well I DID have someone else do them but because of extenuating cirsumstaances like: forgetting to add hotel info, people added, people not getting their invites, I had to do some on my own and they came out just aS NICE! I just don't think I could have done them all on my own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sent out alot of invites!!!!!!!

FH went to some website where you can download fonts. He bought the same font we got on the invites. (Some are free, this was a commercial font so we had to pay a whopping $20). Then we just printed the envelopes out. They came out really nice.

i did our's on the computer - they came out quite nicely...if i do say so myself!

i used just my style because my computer at the time wasnt the greatest. she is reasonable and did a wonderful job. she also did my programs and placecards
