I'm regretting ordering my dress. I'm contemplating canceling it.

I think I'm giving FH an ultimatum. He needs to move out by around end of year or I'm gone. I seriously can't wait anymore. I've been hearing for the past two years that 'we'll have our play by end of year'.... two 1/2 years later we are both still living at home and I can't manage the relationship under the condition of his mother and all the sneaking around we have to do. It's not normal. It's not healthy.

Maybe I'm just having an off day... or maybe I'm thinking clearly for once. I don't know. I just wish I could go home right now and crawl into bed & cry.,

awww im sorry hun... i feel that way sometimes... not about moving out since we live together but about him getting his **** together... he has a go0d job and makes $ but i feel like im the one busting my *** to pay for our e party & wedding... i left the $ for the hall for our e party and he sees me working 2 jobs like crazy.. and all he keeps saying is babe tomorrow im gonna go apply at such n such.. then tomorrow comes n he goes oh i forgot or some other excuse.. the best excuse was this tuesday he tells me well if i apply today what if they want me to start tomorrow we have a busy weekend so ill apply next week.. im like r u kidding hey arent going to ask u to start tomorrow and by some miracle if they do tell them this weekend u really cant.... hes ridiclous

I know what you mean. My FH does have a good job... I FM'd you with the details about the horror story on 'the car' he paid for.

It just upsets me that he doesn't money for the apartment or to get a new car.... but he has no trouble going to best buy on tuesday to buy a CD or DVD. I think if you are saving you should be cutting out your expenses. I haven't bought a movie since I started looking at RH. I bugdet myself on $80 to $100 out of my salary every week to just cover gas and other needs. I don't go out and get manicures like I used, so on & so forth.

I just feel like I'm the only one cutting corners to make ends meat. It's getting a bit tiring.

I love him to death but it's wearing on me.

I can sort of relate. FH is in his final year of his bachelors, and I've already been working full time for 10 years (he started school late, and I am 7 years older than him... He's 27 and I'm 33). He's going to school full time, and working part time we only have 1.5 incomes. I have to say he's been GREAT about splitting deposits with me, but I'm already so established in my career and he'll be just starting out.

Then he's all 'I just bought two pair of jeans and some free weights' and I get all crazy, cause, dude... THE WEDDING. Then I take a deep breath and think about it, and I spend money all the time on whatever I want... but I guess I feel more justified because I have the majority of the money.

It's hard to be in that situation, but as long as you feel he's equitably contributing in some way (even if it's not with $$$) then that's good, but if you're starting to resent his lack of ambition you need to talk to him immediately or you'll just be miserable.
