I've been watching Cher on tv and on the American Idol thread 2 girls and I were talking about Cher. One said she saw her in concert and loved her.

Which was the best concert you've ever been too??

For me it was Billy Joel. I traveled to Connecticut to see him. He was amazing.

Close up there was way back I saw Boyz II Men. My boyfriend at that time his father is a big shot lawyer and knows Boyz II Men's lawyer and got us 3rd row center stage tickets.

Peter Gabriel, anytime I've seen him -
Erasure, the Beacon, this past March - They were awesome!
And, of course, I can't forget all the Cure concerts I went to in HS and college -

As you can see I've been to ALOT of concerts!!

I can't beleive I forgot Aerosmith I saw them when I was 8 1/2 months pregant. And again last year. PAtrick has a secret love for them!!

I can't say there's any one show I liked the best, but here are the top few:

AC/DC @ MSG in 1996 - one of the most incredible shows ever - great special effects

INXS @ Beacon Theatre - a month before Micheal Hutchence died. He absolutely oozed sex appeal. What a waste

Motley Crue @ Jones Beach - I had a fouth row seat and it poured rain the whole time. I had a blast

Rolling Stones @ MSG - for a bunch of old farts, they give a hell of a show

I went to the BONJOVI concert at ASBURY park, and there was only about 1000 people there, it looked like a gym auditorium...it was GREAT.. I could see Jon Bon Jovi perfectly!!! the only thing was there was no A/C and it was the summer time so we were SOAKING wet with sweat, but we didnt care !!

I went to Mary J Blige Concert last Valentine's day and it was awesome, Mary is my favorite singer so I could be biased

3 yrs ago I went to a Lauryn Hill concert now that was excellent, then she brought out Mary to do a duet with her, I think I had an orgasm

I love seeing my favorite acts live.

NKOTB - we sat behind the stage but the best part was that between songs, they would come and sit in front of us and talk to us
Bon Jovi - saw them 5 times. Love them!!!!!

There have been too many!!! The ones I can remember....

Jane's Addiction reunion concert on 10/31/96 at Roseland
Tibetan Freedom Concert in Randall's Island
Dave Matthews b4 he was big at SUNY Albany
NIN/David Bowie in '96 at Hershey Park
Beck/Yo LA Tengo at Roseland

and THE BEASTIE BOYS at Roseland, I think it was '92. Right when Check Your Head came out, such a great show.

I love aerosmith. I would love to see them in concert. The last time they were playing in NY tickets sold out in about 30 min. We couldnt get tickets. I was so upset.

I told FI next time they are playing I dont care you sleep outside ticketmaster and I will have me and my my parents (they have 2 phone lines) using both lines, I want tickets.

He just shook his head at me.

OMG!! I LOVED THE TIBETIAN FREEDOM CONCERT!!!

it was soo much fun for 2 days... i loved the little flea market thing they had going on.. and i spent most of my time on the chanting tent!! I loved it!!

I used to go to alot of concerts...it's hard to narrow down the best...

U2 Joshua Tree tour at MSG in 1987 (?)

The Police and the Clash at Shea Stadium back in the early 80s. Got in for free!!!

Live Aid in Philadelphia (1985)

Last summer's Rolling Stones at Roseland-AWESOME!!!

Geek alert---My first concert was Shaun Cassidy at the Nassau Coliseum! My sister and I screamed and sang along the entire concert.

I got to meet him!!
I also went to an REM concert a looooooong time ago at the Garden and that was amazing!!

Metallica at the Meadowlands in '97. They did this April Fool's type prank where the set all of a sudden started sparking and catching fire, and before we knew it, the lights were exploding, a stage hand was running around in flames, the guys that sit up in the lights on the ceiling starting falling (they had safety wires on), and then the whole place went dark. Then, a lightbulb on the stage turns on, the band huddled around it, and then finished up the concert. I was like, holy crap!!!! I didn't realize until later that it was April 1st!
