If anyone is guilty of anything, post here and it's our secret!!

**FH had disclosed that the receipt for his wedding gift to me was in his drawer and NOT to go in there (I don't normally go in there anyway...) SOOO, when his parents were away and he was away...I HAD TO LOOK!! I found a receipt for a jewelry store.....whatever it was, it was $1,000!!! No one knows I did it....and I told him that if he couldn't do it for the wedding, to save it for our first X-mas next year!!

Two things....

DH thinks I was completely surprised when we got engaged but in fact I was walking by his coat and rested my hand on it and felt the little box. I never told him since it seems so important to him that I was surprised at the time.

The other thing was for my birthday gift - I saw the receipt from the jewelery store and I know he spent too much. Jerky left it out ont he table.

Oh, but this was real snooping...
He doesn't want me to know what he paid for my e-ring but I looked on our insurance policy. The curiosity was killing me

i bought fh a movado for our engagement...and i told him i paid more for it than i acutally did
not really that big of a deal.
it's a real movado...i just happened to get a really great deal!

My DH tried to hide that he was shopping for my ring.

I called him once on his Cellphone and he said he was still in the office, but I heard the tell-tale 'Ding Ding Ding' of the car when the door is open. I let it go. Two weeks later we were engaged.

I did tell him. I said 'I know what day you picked up my ring because I called and hear that you had your car door open but you said you were in the office.'

He can't lie. LOL

I thought he was only shopping to be honest, I didn't realize he picked it up that day!!!!

I happened to look in a box that was 1/2 open and saw a gift form my mom and dad, that she was rally excited about. I did not know it was for me, at the time, and i didn't realize that she was so excited about it. She got me a placque with my new house number on it, and as soong as I saw the 840, i closed it immediately. I wasn't thinking when I was opening it, that it would have been a gift for me.

My FI spent hours and hours planning my birthday surprise...he took me for a weekend in the Bahamas!! He set it up that he was picking me up at the airport (I was flying in from NY to see him) and he had already checked his luggage in.
I never told him that his sister slipped and told me that he was taking me to the Caribbean. I let him believe he really surprised me. It was an amazing trip and I didn't want to ruin it for him.

I did some detective work right before we got engaged, I was reading into everything he would say, didn't snoop in his belongings but kinda figured out when he would pop the question. I was surprised the way he did it but not surprised about the night. He has no clue that I kinda figured it out.

I am VERY BAD!!!!!!
Every year I snoop, and have always since I was a kid.
I found that hubby bought me the tanzanite and diamond bracelet I LOVED in the city.
He went all the way back and bought it for me I found the receit too

i peeked at some of my christmas gifts(from registry)... like 5 of the 20 will be a surprise

... also i kinda knew when fh was going to propose cause we got to the eab tree and i got out of the car and he stayed in there for a few minutes fumbling around... and we picked out the ring but i didnt know when he'd propose but when he was fumbling i didnt go tell him to hurry up like usual cause i thought it would be that....

FH and I were dating for six months and I was SO head over heels for him, I had to know if there was anyone else (even though he said there wasn't) so I snooped in his apartment and found some chick's business card from Liberty Travel and she had drawn a smiley face on it.....I was livid. Turns out he surprised me with a trip to Vegas for my graduation from grad school later that month I NEVER told him! The same chick is now helping us with our honeymoon, she's an old co-worker of his.

ETS: I'm glad I'm not the only one snooping around.

I am totally guilty of snooping!!! For the past year, I have been looking for my e-ring receipt!!! Just for curiousity of course!!! FH knows this and told me to stop wasting my energy cause I am never gonna find it!!!

Our engagement...I knew when, where and how probably 3 months before it happened - to the point where I called a girlfriend and told her to mark it down on her calendar because I knew. FH thinks I was surprised and he'd be heartbroken if he knew I wasn't.

And I peeked in my christmas stocking.

I found the tennis bracelet and the receipt that Roger bought for my b-day, he paid way too much, I did not say a word. He thought he was being slick by putting it in his briefcase

I know what he paid for my e-ring. It was in the circular for Barkley's when I went to the mall to have it sized. I still have it.

i'm a snooper. i do it all the time. i can't stop myself. i know most of my christmas gifts. i even went so far as to log in as my dh on amazon so i could see what was bought off my wishlist! what can i say i hate surprises :)
