conformation this weekend

just wanted to share with everyone that i'm getting baptized and confirmed this saturday, i'm so excited, one more step i'm accomplishing.

Me too!! I'm getting baptized, cofirmed and receiving communion at the Easter vigil Sat. night. I'm pretty excited!!

ME TOO!!!!! Holy Saturday is my Confirmation

Although I have a question for you ladies who are on the same spiritual journey I am on - I am already a baptized Christian so I am not getting baptized....

But is this thing on Saturday is both Confirmation AND Communion? Like I get Confirmed first and THEN I can take Communion? That's what I thought but FH was like 'Why do little kids go twice then? Communion when they're like 7 or 8 and then Confirmation when they are a little older? This from a cradle Catholic. So now he's got me confused. I have a call inot the Sister who ran my prgram but I am confused....

Ok Sister just called me back and told me that I was making two Sacraments tomorrow - Confirmation first and THEN Communion. If I were being baptized, I would be making three...

I am really excited!!!!!!

little kids do go twice when they are younger second grade and 8th grade.

I think when you are older you can do them together. That's what my sister in law did (in Rochester)

ME TOO!!!!!! I'm getting confirmed at the Easter vigil too. I made my first communion when I was and kid and never continued . . .I'm glad I did this as an adult . I got a lot out of it more than i think I would have if I was a kid going through the process.
