Confused where to start changing my name

We received the marriage license today, and I'm trying to find a thread on where to start.

Do I start at the Social Security office? DMV? Does it matter? Do I need one to get the other? I'd hate to go somewhere and wait for no reason. TIA!

it doesn't matter where u start. u need to go to the dmv, bank, s.s., work for pa yroll, credit c ards

It doesn't matter which one you go to first, but in order to change your name at work for paycheck and insurance purposes, you most likely need to show them your new SS card.
