Confusion on vendor pricing??

I know that obviously venues cost less in the off season but how about vendors? Are vendors less money in March then they would be in May or do they charge flat rates year round?

Confusion on vendor pricing??

eh they really arent less. they all have their packages. very few will give a discount for off season. I'm getting married in december and DJ is actually more because of holiday parties!! you just really have to negotiate!!!

Confusion on vendor pricing??

Yeah, I agree with the above poster. We are getting married in the 'off' season. It seems like what vendors charge is pretty set along with some negotiating.

Confusion on vendor pricing??

I asked my planner this and she said you will rarely find one, because they do the same amount of work whether it's June or December.

Confusion on vendor pricing??

I've been asking all my vendors for their off season prices and they've been working with me, just be firm about your budget. I don't think they expect it from me and I've been able to haggle some deals by acting completely no-nonsense with the people I'm working with lol I know that sounds silly but it's work so far!

Confusion on vendor pricing??

I haven't looked at any vendors other than photography and limos, and the pricing was no different. They're still providing the same service regardless of the time of year.

Confusion on vendor pricing??

Thanks guys! You helped me make a big decision today! We had picked our date for March but decided to push to May now because the price difference wasnt astronomical with our venue. I'm excited to have a May wedding :)

Confusion on vendor pricing??

The only thing I saw that was different was a limo company charged more in the prime months than off season. To be honest, that kind of put me off and I won't be booking with that particular company.
