We're going to get the GMs their converse sneakers this weekend. Someone said men's converse run kinda big and that I should order a 1/2 size smaller- anybody know if this is true? TIA!

Yeah, me, too. Ladies converse run really big (because I think they are still in men's sizing.). I guess I'll just have to have FH try on a pair and see how they fit. Thanks!

I'm not sure about men's converse either but I know for myself, I always ordered a smaller size than I normally am also.

i dunno. i'm a 10 and i always get the mens 8, which is standard 2 sizes smaller. the mens and womens are the exact same shoe, only difference is the patterns sometimes, womens are come pinks/double tongues, etc

same. i'm a 10 and wear a mens 8 in converse. but mens sizes and womens sizes are obviously different.
best bet is to have your fh try on a pair and see how they run for him.

Yeah that's what I think I'm gonna do. I was just planning on going with my mom though- getting FH to do ANYTHING WR is like pulling teeth!
