Would you be annoyed if a friend who attended your wedding used your exact same bridesmaid dresses (same exact color, designer, etc) at her own wedding less than a year after yours? (and chose them after your wedding had occurred)?
She just sent me a facebook message:
'Hey love,
So... I have something kind of serious that I have to talk to you about. I was just looking at your pictures and realized that I might have ordered the exact same dresses for my girls. I think there is time to change it if you want me too... AHHH you have such good taste it is hard to follow your wedding up! Let me know what you think ...
xoxox Jess'
I really want to tell her that it DOES bother me, but I feel like it's wrong to do so since my wedding is already over. i admit i might be a little extra bitter since this couple no-gifted us.

I wouldn't worry too much, I mean guests don't remember details too often about what the bp wore. In the grand scheme of things is it really that much of a big deal? People are foreclosing on houses, people are fighting wars, people can't afford their food bills or gas I wouldn't focus too much on a dress. there are bigger things to get upset about.

If it makes you feel better, a coworker of mine found out all the stuff about my wedding and then turned around and took my ideas. She took my colors, mantilla veil and at the time the lace dress I had my eye on It did bother me because I felt like she could have gotten her own ideas. But in the end, it didn't even matter because we invited different people to our weddings and I made sure not to share any more details about my wedding. I guess I just have good taste
Honestly, not that your wedding wasn't special, but by the time this friend's wedding comes along they won't remember yours. Or at least I wouldn't.

I would feel so angry... Personally I went out of my way to desing thins (flowers, invites, my hair, etc) so not to look like other brides I know....
I spent 6 months designing (with someone else) my invites, and if my friend all of the sudden came to me with the same invites..id have a cow!!!

Yes, I'd be upset...especially since they're the same EXACT dress down to the color!!! I hope she picks a different color at least...but as you can see from this post, obviously you have good taste or people wouldn't want to copy you!!!!

I wouldn't be mad at all, especially if it happened after my wedding. A friend could use the same dresses, in the same colors and get the same flowers, cake, invites, etc. as me and I wouldn't be mad.
If and ONLY if everything was custom-made for me and my DH, then I'd be pissed. Anything out there in stores is up for grabs....you just gave her a good idea!
