ours was a little over 6k for 8 nights in a pool bungalow at a resort in brazil. And it included bfast and dinner. But not drinks or lunch. With drinks, lunches, and mini bar, and massages, our bill at the end of the trip was another $300. It was actually very decently priced for such a nice resort!
Wow... I guess DH and I got a crazy good deal on our HM to St. Kitts! I think flight and resort for a week was like $2300 or something! Granted, while we were there we prob spent another couple of thousand, but still!
our honeymoon was around $5000 and we had 10 days at Royal Hideaway in Playacar Mexico.
we went to Italy...in the Amalfi coast, for a penthouse suite with balcony jacuzzi we paid 6K for 7 nights. Plus about another 2-3K for food, excursions, car service to Naples, and train to Rome. We stayed in Rome on my FIL's points so that helped out. We stayed in the Rome Cavieleri Hilton, the room we were upgraded to averages about 2.5K per night! (IMO nice classy hotel but NOT worth that much!) We also got our flight first class on FIL's points. I'm not sure what that runs. If anyone is interested in the Amalfi coast I hightly recommend the hotel i stayed in, It was quaint, romantic, and we were treated like family by the owners.Our suite was on the top floor of their villa and we had a huge rooftop balcony and terrace with a jacuzzi overlooking beautiful views! ugggghhhh too much. Over 6K and that doesn't include spending money and excursions in Hawaii.
$4600 all inclusive in Cabo with flights for 7 nights. I wanted to do a sandals but they were so much more $$$, i dunno if it had to do with my wedding being during the holiday season or not but everywhere was crazy expensive. I didn't really want to do Mexico but it was really one of the only somewhat affordable options.
We did Ireland for around 5k for 10 days and honestly as much as we loved our trip I wish we saved some of the money and done something less expensive. BUT we paid for our entire wedding ourselves so it was like in the end we were like oh crap we spent a lot IoI
check out the Excellence Resorts..were going to the one in Playa Mujeres and we got a gorgeous suite for less than Sandals (we've already been to the one in the Bahamas it was nice but we didnt want to go back) HTH
