I'm just trying to get an idea of what the average cost of a bridesmaid's dress is.
The one I have picked out has a price tag of $280, but they were 'generous' enough (smell the sarcasm) to knock it down to $265 b/c I purchased my gown there.

They are bordeaux strapless by dessy
they were suppose to be 240.00 but my girls got a break they are 190.00 with a cap of 50.00 on alterations..

Debbie- I wanted a Serafina dress- black and white- it cost $350... I was so upset because I absolutely loved it..... What was the fabric on your dress? Satin?

What accounts for the differences in pricing on the bm dresses? Some of these dresses are 300 and some are 114- is it fabric? The designer? Wow! Big difference in price ranges!

All of mine have different dresses: Alfred Angelo - $134 and Watters & watters $139-159 from netbride plus, I have a $35 rush charge so i can get them in time because i am this crazy nut who had to plan a wedding in less than 5 months!!!

Mine are Impression Bridals interchangeables (separates) in Georgette and Satin - I can't give 1 figure b/c all my girls have different tops, but I got them from Netbride ranging from $115 to $130 total for the outfit.
In the shops this figure will go up to about $150-$200.

I had my BM buy red silk organza long dresses from Ann Taylor which were on sale for $98.

I think my Impression dresses were about $150 at the salon and my MOH just ordered them today for $95 from Bridalmarketplace. (+ $10 each to mail them to 2 different addresses)

Mine were all $110-158 from RK Bridal No Frills plan (my girls all picked their own dresses by Dessy/After Six). That is the price before tax and alterations.

Jenn5150: Yes 300 does not include alterations. I actually just double checked and they are more than 300, however, FH and I are paying money towards them so the girls will only pay 200.
sept20yay!: I will have to check the exact fabric we got with them. I don't have it written down anywhere.
