Costume suggestions??

Costume suggestions??

Ok....FH & I have a costume party to go to on the 28th, so I really need to make a decision (quick!) about what we're going to be. I wanted to do a couples thing, but FH wants to be Lloyd from Dumb & Dumber (think Jim Carrey in an orange tux! oh joy!!) and I don't think I want to dress up as Harry (blue tux!).

Any suggestions for what costume I could wear? His parents will be at the party too....so I don't really want to do anything too 'slutty' or suggestive (i.e. pregnant nun lol).

I'm running out of time and just hoping someone has a great suggestion!

TIA!

Re: Costume suggestions??

Last year I was Ms. Green M&M and Greg was the Yellow one. The yellow one has nuts in it so I sewed two hairy nuts to the cosume...strategically placed of course! I got white gloves for the both of us, wore a white band in my hair, white high heels and I was done. It was super easy. If you want to know how to make it just FM me and I will give you the details.

Thanks!!! That's too funny!! You are so creative....I'll have to run it by FH, he's so selective with what he'll wear. He's a PITA!

You can always be a plug and socket! Kind of fitting!

edit: Oops! Forgot to tell you! Why don't you try Cedarhurst Paper on Long Beach Road? They have a ton of Halloween stuff. Any party supply I think may have some. You and FH can go take a peek!

that is soooo funny w/ the whole electrician thing I already thought about the plug & socket- it would be perfect.....but I guess I'm just afraid of us getting drunk and 'plugging in' (I'm terrible!) in front of his parents, since they'll be at the party too. but hey I'm engaged now, it's no secret!!!

There's a Cedarhurst Paper in Howard Beach I should definitely stop there after work. Thanks!

Thanks!! Wilma & Fred Flintstone would be fun.....hmmmm maybe I should be Helen of Troy (especially with my name!) and FH could be a greek soldier?

I also like the 50's thing......I wanted to be Sandy & Danny from Grease, but FH doesn't want to get all 'greased' up hahaha. He's really a pain!

Hmmm, since he wants to do the whole Dumb and Dumber thing, why don't you go as Mary from the movie(I think that was her name).

You can dress up in ski clothes since that was a big part of her character. Or just find a nice dress to wear while he's got on the orange tux.

Or you can dress up like an owl. Remeber the whole 'nice hooters' bit!!
