What is everyone budgeting for their wedding dress? Hate to spend over 5k for one day...My brother said I was being cheap!!!
I was thinking more like 2000-2500 OR even cheaper!!!

I had 2 gowns to chose from. One was over a thousand and the one I ended up picking was 950$. Plus I got a free veil cause i bought it that day.

I LOVE my dress. I picked it out of a magazine and prayed it didn't cost a bundle. When I went to the store with my fingers crossed the woman proudly said 'It's $750!!!!!'

my dress is $2600 not including veil, alterations etc. My budget was about $2000 and only b/c my brother and sister law gave me $1000 toward my gown. i went over budget on the gown but i loooooooooooooooooooooove it! it was all made possible by my brother and sil. if they did give me the money, i dont know if i would do it b/c me and fi are paying for the entire wedding ourselves from soup to nuts.

I paid $3400 for my dress, $300 for veil, blusher, and hair comb, no clue what alterations will cost. I fell in love, and that was it. I know it is only one day, but pictures last forever!

Mine was $3800 but I bought it at a trunk show and received a discount. My tiara was $600 and my veil $800 (not worth it but my mom paid for it while I was getting changed)

yea...I know its a lot of $$$$. It was one of the things I went way overboard on. The reason I spend to much to have it made was b/c I really wanted a modern re-creation of my Mom's dress. I couldn't find anything like it in the stores.
The dress was one of my priorities though b/c I know that while the dress is only one day, THE PICTURES ARE FOREVER.

My dress w/ alterations will cost under 2K. Definitely shop around you can save a tone of money. I know I did. You wouldn't believe how much I saved just by calling around.

Got mine from Davids also. I love it. With everything came out to under 700
