FH wants a Maybach to take us to the reception. LOL He is ridiculous. But thank God, so far, no limo company said they were able to get it for us. Otherwise, it would be ridiculously expensive.

What's a Maybach?

There is a song clip that is played on Howard Stern's show that goes 'There's some whores in this house...'

FH wants to play that for the bouquet toss.

That was a big fat... umm... NO.

But we will play GIRLS by the Beastie Boys.. that was my compromise!

not too crazy-but he wants me to dye my hair platinum or he wont marry me!!!!! B/c m yhair was blonde when we met-hes nuts, its taken me 5 years to grow it out!

OMG - LOL!! i didn't even know that you could rent those. they are usually custom hand-made!!! that would be NUTS though!!! those things are as big as a boat!

my fi requested that he could wear his skater shoes with his tux!
Def. nixed that one!

He also wants to hold a camera for a point of view shot as we walk into the rh
- also nixed!

That's funny!!!

My fiance and I are improv comedians. He produces an improv show in Chicago called the Beatbox that is like a mix of improv and hip-hop.

So he decided that at our reception he and his friends MUST have a freestyle rap battle. He has already asked our DJ to make sure he can bring all of the wireless mics he owns as well as some of the stands.

Ummm...I will be hiding.

its not really crazy... but FH HAD to have an arch for our ceremony! a canopy would not be okay for him! not sure why....

mine wants a Maybach too. I told him if he pays for it, we can have it

other than that, he wanted a bride pinata at the reception. totally veto-ed. I said I'd provide it for his bachelor party

EEEWWW I ate that once in my life (I was 7) and my whole family got food poisoning! The mear smell of it makes my stomach turn.

FH hasn't asked for anything to to crazy. He wants the bagpipes and his fire truck at the church, which is pretty normal.

ETA: I forgot when the guys went looking at tuxes, they had found vests that had really crazy patterns, a powder blue 1970's tuxedo complete with a ruffled shirt, and patent leather work boots. He wanted the crazy vest and boots, the guys wanted to put him in the blue!

Ummm...my fiance has a crazy 1970's tuxedo with a ruffled shirt that is YELLOW!!!! that he wears with his friend when they go to AC to be jerks and HE ASKED THE DJ TO WEAR THIS!!!!!!
I was mortified!!!!!!!!!! The dj just said pretty much its your dime LOL. My mother hopefully will put the breaks on that one! I CAN'T CONTROL HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine asked for a Maybach too!

Now that I think about it, he also asked for shrimp at my kosher wedding and HE'S ALLERGIC TO SHRIMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, he wants to breakdance at the wedding. I told him he could have that one b/c I don't think he is ever going to do it.

Now that I think about it more. . . WHAT THE HECK AM I GETTING MYSELF INTO?????????

to be honest he is the one soooo much more into the planning and he even called me on it and said geez i am like the girl here wanting everything to be fun and perfect and you could care less not that i don't care but if he is willing to plan i say go for it

FH wanted a vodka luge....the reception hall threw one in for free. He is very excited.

Not quite sure how I feel bout all the GM getting drunk around the vodka luge

he was just joking but we go get tacos from a truck in Jackson Heights (sounds disgusting but they are sooooooo good!!!!) and he was like we should have the truck give out tacos as people are leaving!
