Creative Memories

Does anyone use their products? Or have a consultant they use that they really like? I have just started scrapbooking and would love to host/attend a CM party. One of my friends swears by the CM products. Unfortunately, she lives in another state.

I don't use CM products but I do use alot from AC Moore. I find that CM is expensive and you can get the same product much cheaper. Don't get me wrong, CM has a beautiful product line but for what you would pay for a sheet of stickets (example) you could get double/triple in AC Moore or Michaels. I find AC Moore to be the best of scrapbooking supplies.

Thank you! I have gone to Michael's and Scrapbook store near me for some basics. I will try AC Moore this weekend. The one thing my friend told me to hold off getting and get from CM is their 'cutting system'.

Another tip for scrapbooking supplies. I have bought supplies at Staples. Example: glue sticks. Staples sells acid free glue sticks 4 for $1.99, a typical scrapbook glue stick runs about $1.29 each. Stickers, scissors, cutting mats, are other things I bought there.

Be prepared to be overwhelmed at AC Moore's scrapbooking section. I've spent countless hours just in that department. I love that store. For me, (I live in upstate NY) I have to travel 40 miles to get to AC Moore and I make it worth my time. Also, every now and then, they have a GREAT sale on their scrapbooks. I have purchased 12 x 12 books, 20 pages for $4.99. When I go down there and see that sale, I buy 2 of each color.
