crescent beach club

Hi Everyone, I'm new here, just got engaged at the end of Oct. The forums have been really informative, but I haven't seen much recent postings about crescent beach club. We put down a save the date deposit for a Sat. afternoon but I'm getting a bit nervous. I've read mixed reviews about cbc. We really like it since we love the idea of a beach wedding, but just wanted to make sure we weren't getting ourselves into a planning nightmare! Any advice? Any recent experiences? thanks!!

I posted this in the nycity wedding forum also, but realized maybe it would be more appropriate in the LI forum =)

Hey, We just booked with CBC, I don't see much on here but fell in love with the place! Had a friend get married there last year and they loved everything so I trust them!

My FSIL's friend was married there and I heard great things about the place. So when my FSIL was looking at halls with my brother for their wedding, they went to see the menu and they said they had to pay a lot to get a descent amount of food that our halls were serving so for that they decided on Russo's instead. More food for the same amount of $$.
