Crest Hollow CC

Hello! Just looking for some feedback on Crest Hollow, I went last night to see the Suburban Room (recently remodeled) and fell in love with it. We are looking for a Nov. 2002 wedding and hoping to book this week. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks, and wish me luck!

We had our reception there in August and everthing was perfect! Everyone was impressed with the place, location, food and service. We used the Emerald room located on the first floor. I highly recommend them! If you have any questions feel free to email me at [email protected]

I had my wedding at CHCC, and it was perfect. I used the Emerald Room for my cocktail hour, and one half of the grand ballroom upstairs for my reception. It was beautiful. You are right to fall in love with it. Good luck with your planning!

Thanks! I am going tonight to book the Suburban Room, which is half the ballroom. They didn't say where the cocktail hour was, but did say that all my guests would sit down. Are there any hidded costs in the contract I should know about? Cake cutting or other nonsense like that? Did you use a house vendor for florist?

There weren't any hidden costs that we found. They do offer you upgrades to the cake and menu for a price however we didn't think it was necessary and are more than satisfied with what we got. Please note however, if you plan on having kids at the reception, they only discount the first 10 kids. That was the only confusing part. We had the perception originally that all kids under 10 years old were discounted. Just make sure everthing is in your contract as with any vendor you pick! Good luck!

My suggestion - if you're using the Suburban Room, which is what I did, for my reception, then you should ask them to write down that you'd like the Emerald Room (downstairs) for your cocktail hour. This way, they see two completely different rooms during your wedding. I know that CHCC can't guarantee which room you will have for your cocktail hour, but you can specify your request, and then you can check periodically (or hound them nicely, like I did) to see if it's booked for a wedding that day. They can tell you definitively the week before your wedding if you're going to get it. I was lucky enough to get it.

The Crest Hollow is very nice, but the only problem that I have is that your not the only bride there. I went to a wedding there a couple of months ago and the guests from each of the weddings going on were all over the place. Didn't know what party was there's and 2 of the brides saw each other. The food is nice and the rooms are nice as well. These are just my thoughts. Good Luck
