We are having one, it's on my contract. We haven't given them the registry number yet, we will do that when we go talk to our BM at the end of January.

We are March 28th also, in the Plaza Room. newbride08, it looks like we will be right down the hall!

I definitely should have gotten the food tasting in writing I'll have to call and see what they can do for me. Thanks for the info

Oh, sorry, I wasn't talking about the food tasting. My parents went to a wedding there and I told them they were doing the food tasting that night. I was talking about the martini bar.

Sorry for the confusion!

My BM is Eric and he is a great guy. He is very nice and whenever I have a question he has an answer for me.

Ohhhh ok yea, looking back I get it now Thanks for the BM rec

I also had the martini bar put in my contract (thank goodness because I feel like if anything is not in the contract it just gets bypassed )

Has anyone seen how CH does the table for placecards will they do any shape table you want??

i'm not sure if they do any size table..

i've gone up there and seen regular square tables. and from what i understand they break the table down right after u'r guests move into the reception room for dinner, so it doesn't stay set up all night ya know..

flowers by brian, actually recommended that i don't get a placecard table decorations because of this.. said it wasn't worth the money..

Hi Girls,

I've been a slacker lately with the holidays. I'm a CHCC bride - 7/11/2008....

I didnt hear mention of the martini bar or special drink with the Fortunoff registry either - that would be really cool.

I'm in the Plaza Room as well!

i've been trying to figure this out myself.. i know i'm not doing votives because i have several children attending, but i'm trying to decide between buying and making placecards and just using theirs.. its such a simple and quick thing.. if i had a favor/placecard i might be all inclined to go all out.. but i' not sure.. but then again i really REALLY love this placecard

question ladies- did any of you do slipper baskets? if so where did you put them? i ask because i'm really interested in doing this, however, knowing that chcc does multiple weddings, i wouldnt want to put them in the bathroom, since another function will be using the bathroom as well.. any suggestions?

I'm considering doing this, but if I do, then definitely not in the bathroom because I agree they will disappear into the other weddings. I think maybe next to the placecard table?

bellez, when do u go in for u'r menu.. we go Jan 12th i think.. i'm not even sure.. lol. fh makes the arrangments..

lucky girl my FH is such a pain in the *** and doesn't wanna do anything but show up the day of.

I haven't heard anyhting from them about doing the menu.
Are you going to do a food tasting. I really want to I believe there food is good but why cant i test it all out to decide what i like best for the menu.
