Speak to Tom Lauterborn....he's my BM and has been helpful. I don't understand why the others said no to a food tasting...thats crazy. I had mine within a month after I booked at the BM's suggestion.

Thanks for the rec. Right now I don't have a BM because the one I signed with left. It's so ridiculous

Hey girls, I'm finally starting to make some progress and get my quickie wedding together..here's a question for u guys. If you booked hotes for out of town guest, where did you book them and which ones beside exec inn and best western provide shuttle bus service? Any one inquired with the Hilton yet?

Thanks!

I blocked rooms at the Melville marriot. They do not provide shuttle bus so I hired a bus company to do that

im def not doing any decorations on the placecard table maybe just a couple rose petals no one cares at all about that table. Im still trying to decide between votives or actual placecards

I agree with you on this. While speaking to my florist, he mentioned that rose petals are good enough for the place card tables. He said no one really pays attention to the place card table b/c they're busy looking for their names, and they only hang around that table for a minute or 2. So to spend money on floral decorations for a placecard table is a bit pointless and not necessary. He recommended me spend money where the guest will be around the most.

Hi ladies,
I'm a Crest Hollow bride too. I didn't even know that they had food tasting. I plan to do my ceremony outside and maybe the cocktail hours too, if it's not too dark. what kind of CP are you guys using? since the rooms are pretty dark

Welcome Bride888,
I plan on using raised centerpeices with cream roses and gold leaves, set atop a candelabra with lit candles. I figured it'll look elegant and at the same time add some light to the room as well. I suggest you do the cocktail hour, the pool and the lights light up soooo beautiful when it's dark. It looks awesome. I attended a wedding where the bride and groom had their cocktail hour at 8:00 PM at CHCC and I totally loved it.
