Crest Hollow Wedding Review
OK, let's see what I can remember... I'm just going to rate everything on a scale of 1 - 10..
CH - 10 : Hawaiian chicken, eggplant rollatini, beef burgandy, carving station: lamb and ham, that's all I had plus cheese and grilled veggies. And whatever they passed around. Everything was delicious.
Reception:
Florist - 10 - Don't know florist but the CPs were a simple low CP with cream roses, the roses were beautiful, no brown edges or anything... Simple and pretty.
Tommy's Tunes - 10 - I forget the guy's name but he was awesome. They played great songs that had the dance floor packed the entire time. And - it was a day wedding, 1pm to 6pm, and the dance floor was PACKED. Then again, all the boys were drunk, but still the DJ was AWESOME.
Bar service - 10 - they had two rolling bars set up on either side of the dance floor - it was in a 'different' location than I'm used to but it was perfect. The bar closest to us was tended by Dennis and he was always at our table looking if we needed a refill.
Dinner - 7 - I had prime rib, med rare. It was med rare but very tough. Prime rib, being so fatty, is usually melt in your mouth, especially being rare. Not so. I don't usually pay attention to the dinner food but I did for you guys. The potatoes and veggies were good. The other choices were a chicken dish (I don't think anyone at our table ordered that), and salmon - which I heard was very, very good.
Cake - 8 - Was beautiful. Yellow cake with cannoli filling and whipped cream icing. It wasn't the best I've had but still good. I feel like cannoli is hit or miss.
Overall - 10 - I'm not averaging anything, I still give the wedding a 10. Awesome, fun, delicious. Service was superb, never knew there were other functions going on. It was a great time! Crest Hollow brides have absolutely nothing to worry about.
Oh, and their photographer seemed great - climbing on chairs to get better pics, etc. The guys all said he looked like Hans from The Mighty Ducks. So they were calling him Hans all night.
P.S. There weren't any bathroom baskets, and I looked for one because I wanted to put lotion on my hands...
