My FH has a doctor's appointment coming up this afternoon. he's so sick he hasn't been able to eat solid food since Sunday and just admitted to me he's having a hard time drinking water or breathing!
The doctor told him if he hasn't been able to drink enough, he's being admitted to the hospital..
Cross your fingers and send a bit of healing thoughts - I can't imagine FH in the hospital because a bug's gotten him that sick.

Awful! There are these stomach bugs going around that are really taking people down; if he needs fluids it's definitely best he gets them. Being in the hospital isn't fun, I did that a few months ago but it'd be for the best. Best of luck to him and hoping he feels better soon!

Hope he feels better! Being in the hospital sucks but he would def get those fluids in him quickly.

UPDATE:
FH is so sick his throat is closing down. Doctor's gave him an anti-inflamatory shot and steroid shot, but have pretty much ordered if he's not significantly better by tomorrow morning - he's to head to the ER.
Basically, the infection he had took over his throat because he let it go on too long.
FH has no medical insurance, and like me, we both hate doctors (despite me working in and out of doctor's offices, go figure).
He was able to drink a bit of water tonight, but still hasn't eaten any food outside of jello and yogurt since Monday.
I feel like a horrible fiancee as I'm sick too, though I'm all fevers, chills and body aches -so I'm staying away afraid of getting him further sick. I'd dropped 8 pounds over the last 4 days because I've been so miserable I haven't been eating.
I 've missed three days of work and may take off tomorrow to take him to the ER...
It's not huge, just... he's like a big baby, and I'm worried about him being alone overnight when he's admittedly having a hard time breathing. Yet he won't let me come over. So worried.
