I used them for my wedding, and I have to be honest here.
The man I met with (Tony I think), and also the woman that runs the office (Margaret??) were great. Very nice, very helpful. I had no complaints. They even upgraded us at the last minute to a 14 passenger limo (from a 10 passenger) for our hotel shuttle.
We also had a limo bus, and that was really cool and I had no complaints with that either. Although my DH thought the driver was a little too fast. Which is weird since my DH is a speed freak himself.
BUT....... I was NOT happy with the service I had on my wedding day. I hired an Excalibur. It rained on my day, and I was very surprised that the limo driver NEVER came up to the front door to tell us he was there, OR to escort me to the car under an umbrella. My FATHER took me out of the house under his regular totes umbrella, which barely covered my head, much less my dress. Only when we opened the car door and started to get in ourselves did the driver jump out of the car to help us. Lost BIG points for that.
To his credit, though, he did call 20 minutes before he arrived to confirm my address and tell me he was on his way.
THEN...... After we were all settled, he apologized and told us the partition between the driver and the passengers was broken, so he wouldn't be able to put it up! I wasn't thrilled but figured it was no big deal really.
BUT THEN..... As he pulled away from my house and turned the corner, a FLOOD of water came in through the window right onto my LAP!!!! I was NOT happy! I told him to stop the car, that I was getting soaked. The WINDOW was about an inch open, and the water that pooled on the roof of the car poured in when he turned the corner. The worst yet was that this window was BROKEN, so he couldn't put it up!!! I had to stuff paper towels into the opening to prevent myself from getting soaked. There's NO excuse for this. Didn't someone check the car before sending it out??? Especially on a rainy day???
THEN.....When we got to the studio to take pictures, he passed it at first (understandable, it was hard to find), and after we turned around to come back he wanted to drop me off ACROSS THE STREET!!! Basically he wanted me to cross the street in my WEDDING dress, in the rain, on a curve. He said something like he wouldn't be able to get the car into the parking lot in front of the building. My photographer had a word with him, and sure enough, he managed to get the car into the parking lot.
We let the car go after that, and I went in the limo bus with the rest of the bridal party. Because of that, we never got any pictures with the car.
So while the people I met with at the office were GREAT--I was very unhappy with the condition of my car, and with my driver's lack of attentiveness.
Sorry. Just my honest experience.
