My FH and I need help. We have 2 choices for our honeymoon, but I have no idea which may be better
If we do the cruise around Hawaii, we may not get much privacy, but to me it's a once in a life tie thing and we may never go to Sandals
BUT if we go to Sandals, we won't have to spend another dime, but may never get to Hawaii
Please help!!

I'm biased, but sandals.
I'm one that I know I will be travelling one large trip a year, and I'll make it to Hawaii one of these days.

I say do what you really really want. I see our HM as one of our last (and prob only) big vacations. We are going to Sandals in St. Lucia- we are on a budget - both financial and time wise. If I had the time or money, I'd spring for Hawaii. Good Luck!

my father went a few years ago on a royal carribean cruise to hawaii, it was pretty long and he stayed for like 2 nites on the big island. he loved it and really enjoyed all the things to do on each island. I Say Hawaii

I say Sandals. We were going to go to Hawaii (land only) for our HM but when I added up the cost it was SUPER expensive. We are going to Sandals in St. Lucia. We have already been to the Sandals in the Bahamas and loved it!

This past March FH and I went to Hawaii and cruised on NCL's Pride of Aloha. It was VERY reasonable in terms of price and we had THE best time.
I say cruise Hawaii... if you can, get a balcony room... if not, oceanview or even inside room is fine - just remember that all cruiseship rooms are on the small side.
Honestly, I think it was the best way to see all the major Hawaiian Islands - we never would have been able to afford to go to all 4 islands, stay in hotels, pay for inter island flights, etc etc etc. We ate one meal off the ship everyday, but had breakfast and either lunch or dinner on the ship (included in price) so we saved $.
Also, I would HIGHLY recommend that you don't do excursions with the ship because they cost so much more than doing them with an independent tour company.

I went to hawaii when i was younger with my parents, and it was beautiful! if i could afford it i would go there for my honey moon!

I say Sandals, I think you would get more for your money than the cruise.

i want to go to hawaii for my hm too! we just got back from a cruise and although the trip its self was a gift...everything you do on the cruise adds up really quick! they dont tell you that you have to pay for each soda and bottled water. every excursion you go on too is per person. so it really would depend on what your buget will allow. good luck!
