Thanks Jenn. I really had a great time in Bermuda and this year for our 1 year anniversary we are going on a cruise to Floria and Bahamas. We are going on the Norwegian Dawn.

Bedda-
I like your pics....we have very similar ones....we did the Crystal Caves which was cool, and the aquarium but missed the Perfumery. How was that?
One of those beach pics looks like Horseshoe Bay which was one of my favorite beaches. Even though we were on RC - we had similar shore excursions Im sure. We did the crystal caves/aquarium and the glass bottom boat tour which was awesome too. I spent alot of time in the spa on our ship while we were sailing! Even though Bermuda isnt the most exotic' place in the world and it has been explored and explored I loved it...it is so clean, civilized, and just really pretty and relaxing. Shopping on Front st was awesome too.

no it's not the most exotice place in the world but it is pretty, clean and relaxing. Yes that picture was of horshoe bay...that was my favorite too. We went back there twice, my husband and I loved it so much. The perfume Factory was no big deal. I think we were there for a total of 15 mins...LOL didnt miss much. I did little perfume bottle samples and the fragrance is nice. They just take you on a tour of the place which is small and they talk about how their perfume is made. It was cute but no big deal really. Did you go to Bailey's Ice Cream Parlor...It was sooooooooo good. It was on the way to the crystal caves...

Yes we did go to Baileys Ice Cream! It was good- it was right across from the Swizzle Inn if I remember correctly which we also stopped into on the way out of the caves tour. That was the home of the Rum Swizzle drink.
I loved the ferry system in bermuda and the people are so nice! Next time I go I want to stay at the Elbow Beach Hotel - we explored that hotel and beach - we also had a drink at their outdoor restaurant - it was amazing! Glad we didnt miss much at the perfumery!

Re: cruise help please
No like I said in other posts, I was on Royal Caribbean Nordic Empress - I heard Celebrity is really great cruiseline but since our wedding was on a saturday evening we could only do RC since they leave on sundays....I also wanted the balcony room which I think at that time the travel agent told me only Royal Carib offered them.

I heard that is a nice ship. It doesnt really matter if you have a room with a balcony or not because you are not in the room most of the time.

Have you had a room with a balcony? You would be the first person to tell me that. The balcony made such a huge difference to us on our last trip.

Re: cruise help please
I have to agree that while you arent in your room all that much - having a balcony was awesome. Which brings us back to the original post on this thread....to go on a cruise w/o balcony or not to?
I was spoiled because it was my first cruise and my first with a balcony so now I wouldnt want to cruise any other way. I guess if you've never had one, you arent missing it tho.
