I think you should be ok, usually the deboard from levels so if you are on one of the lower levels you're the last to get off (since you usually pay the least). However, if you TELL them ahead of time, you should be able to get to the top of the list to get out and won't have any problems.

I'd give the cruiseline a call first and ask before doing anything.

We have a similar situation with our HM cruise, getting airfare through the line was twice as expensive as doing it on our own.

i think this depends on the cruise line, my room was on the 15th floor and i was the last group called, i was the 2nd to last floor...we also didnt put our bags out until VERY late and didnt do any of that until late so mightve been why lol...FH and i were too busy out gambling until 5am lol

I would book a later flight....both times we've docked at 7 am and took flights later than 1....the first time we had an hour to spare...and due to delays, we had to spare 2 hours the second time.

Re: cruise question

if you keep your luggage you can get off the boat at your leisure. My friend had to wait for his stuff and it took a little while and he got stopped at customs

yea 'deboating' can take a long time, but what we did on our cruise was volunteer to be the first ones off (which means you take your own luggage instead of the workers handling it for you) and get off the boat at 6 am, before they let everyone else off. You can call your cruiseline and see if you have that option but I don't know if it'll be too early for you

yes, i have done that before
ive cruised before but never had to worry about a flight

Definitely make it later, I've been on 2 cruises where I didn't get out until like 10:00-10:30. Plus you can explore and maybe go shopping or sightseeing before you go home if you make it a later flight.

i am not one to want to do any of that after a cruise
i want to go home - not sure what i'll do yet
i guess i 'll call RC
