CRUISES** NEED HELP LADIES*

So fh has decided that he would like to take a cruise for our honeymoon. Which cruise ship is better? Carnival, Royal Norweigan, Princess Cruises.

Any help would be greatly appreciated?

We love Norwegian. We love that at dinner there is a 'casual dress' dress code, so you arn't sitting next to a guy in a wifebeater. You can eat whenever and wherever, and you don't have to eat with strangers. We loved the 'freestyle dining' aspect.

The rooms were nice, we had a porthole window. The beds were SO comfy! they had down comforters! the bathrooms were surprisingly big! The staff was great and the food was amazing.

They had really good entertainment as well- a broadway show medley (i was impressed by the performers), a world-class juggler (he appeared on Jay Leno) bar crawls......and tons of off-shore excursions, we swam with the dolphins, took a shuttle to the beach and snorkled with stingrays.

We had the best time- we'd go again in a heartbeat!!!

We took the Norwegian Spirit from NY to Fl and the Bahamas.

Carnival is not a HM type cruise IMO
Royal is what Im going on for mine. Its a better atmosphere.
Norwegian is good for their freestyle dining (go to dinner whenever you want and dont have to sit with random people)
Princess I think would be best for HM... at least thats what ive read when reseraching

Carnival and Royal were the only ones I could chose from for the dates I needed so I went with royal... they have better service and food IMO

Talk to Dawn at Cruise One!!!! She is the cruise queen, my HM travel agent, and is helping with some other stuff (beware lurkers). Call her (she is an LIW vendor) and she will give you the WHOLE SCOOP on cruises!!!

We love Norwegian! We took a cruise last September on the Norwegian Crown (that ship is gone now ) to Bermuda from NY. It was the most amazing time! We swam with the dolphins, did a boat, bike and beach tour, and a sunset glass bottom cruise. It was amazing!! Their ship, The Dawn, goes to Bermuda now from NY and I hear its a beauitful ship! It is also a lot bigger the then Crown was.

Oh and Bermuda is AMAZING!!!!!!

We LOVE Royal Carribean. Using for our honeymoon. We went with Royal twice before and each time were blown away by the service and the food. Also, Royal offers so many amenities like ice skating rinks at sea right on the ship and rock climbing walls and excellent spas that make it a great choice for a honeymoon. IMO go with Royal and you will not regret it.

The only one I've been on was Norweigan, but it was great! FH was on Royal and he loved that one too.

I think any of them are good chocies really, except for maybe Carnival - I think those are move like 'family' ships.

Definately not Carnival (took this for bachlorette). We went on Princess in May around the carribean and it was a beautiful ship with awesome food. Our honeymoon is a two week trip on 650 passenger princess boat (really tiny). First four days are four different hawaiian islands, then we go to Christmas Island, Kirabati, then Bora Bora, then another island in French Polynesion, then we go to Polynesion Islands and finally we spend a few days in Tahiti.
I recommend finding a ship that has a lot of ports so you can really get around and see a bunch of different islands or if your into doing a whole lot of relaxing, choose an itinerary with only a few ports.
so exciting!!

I've never been on norweigan but I've been on several Carnival cruises 2 royal carribean and just came back from a 10 day princess curise which is where FH proposed Anyway, we really weren't fans of royal carribean for many reasons, we thought princess was really nice, the food was great, ship was beautiful, entertainment was good, the ports were great, really nothing to complain about but it was a lot of older people. We've always had the most fun and had the most selection of things to do on Carnival, the Liberty is our favorite ship, we've been on it twice. I don't know when you are looking to book, but the new celebrity solstice is supposed to be awesome, it hasn't set sail yet, we are booked for a cruise on there in February...

I've been on 2 princess cruises and they were both wonderful. It is not very kid-oriented, so I think its great for a honeymoon. The night life is not the best (at least not in May when I went both times) but its low-key fun. FH and I met quite a few honeymooners on our last cruise out of NYC and they were really enjoying themselves!!!
