Has anyone thought of doing a tiers of cupcakes instead of a wedding cake? The older generation in my family thinks I'm nuts, but I like it! What do you think?

no actually my reception hall has that as an option for my wedding cake (which is included in my hall cost)

I thought about having cupcakes. I changed my mind last week.
These are the prices I got ranging from $3.25 to 7.00 to 10.00 to $12.

for each? I am getting cupcakes for my e-party, i went to the bakery where i LOVE their cupcakes and he said since i will get so many he will give me a deal and give them to me for less...I am getting them at about $1 each

met with my RH last week to go over the menu & we are doing a small wedding cake & she suggested cupcakes..instead of handing out pieces of cake..i was like...oookkkk!!! they won't be on tiers but on the table...

We're not doing it but I think it is such an awsome idea. And somehow cupcakes always taste so much better than regular cake IMO
