Hey everyone, I really like the idea of having edible favors. I decided I'd like to do cupcakes. I was just wondering if you ladies have any ideas where I can find good, affordable cupcakes?

i would check with your local bakery. they will probably give you a better price than other bakeries that specialize in wedding stuff

I plan on handing out Martha's cupcakes after the wedding. I haven't talked with them yet- did they box them for you or did you provide the boxes? If the latter, where did you get them?

Very likely, we're there all the time, dh's parents still live on 20th ave and dh still goes to his barber on ditmars and cleaners on ditmars lol.
No unfortunately they did not box them. i didnt even ask though but i felt bad to ask but i should've lol. I bought the boxes from paper presentation which I do NOT recommend, they were very nice don't get me wrong but a bit pricey. Definitely could've gotten it for cheaper online

i wanted these too for my RD. I emailed the lady who makes them and she wanted about $400-500 for 50 of them. I thought it was alot for just 50 of them. For my e-party i did cupcake favors and had 150 guests and spent ALOT less than that. THey look great but if you need ALOT of them it will get VERY pricey. It was about $7-8 each plus theres also shipping charges
I bought cupcakes as a favor for e-party from Martha's country bakery, its my favorite. I like it much better than magnolia's or buttercup in the city. The guy worked with me on the price and gave them to me at a little over $1 each. I paid just a little over $200 for 150 of them. Normally if you buy the individual ones they are more but since i got so many he was nice and gave me a good price.

i didnt display them, they were a favor. I bought brown and pink boxes, and also bought brown ribbon and pink ribbon with brown polka dots. I put the cupcakes inside the box and put the boxes in front of everyones place setting. Also for each couple they got a bottle of wine and had the wine on the table too. This was for e-party. Here is a pic of my tables at e-party. The pink and brown boxes have the cupcake inside

I have to say we just ordered Fat Daddy cupcakes to try them for our wedding favor and we got them today! I love the way they are packaged. I think I was quoted 6 or 6.50 each cupcake and they will include a personalized ribbon.
My pics stink. I have to say they look as nice as their pictures on the website and they taste really good. They package them really well too!

I don't know if it will be open by the time of your wedding, but Sprinkles cupcakes is opening in NY and they are awesome!! I had them in Dallas and yum! The only down fall is they are ~$3.50 a pc. but soooooo good.

I went to a wedding recently and their cupcake favors were from Crumbs Bake Shop. They were delicious!!! And also very big.

Crumbs are the best!!! Also try Magnolias in the city, might be pricey tho not to sure
