Custom Aisle Runner vs. Aisle Runner provided by limo companies
I was watching Bridezilla the other day and noticed that among the many issues this bride had her aisle runner was all crinkled and looked awful as she walked down the aisle.
What are your thoughts on trusting the limo company to provide yours in perfect condition for your big day?? I am on the fence about ordering a custom runner now?!?!?!?!?!?!

I just think in general, if you are going to use an aisle runner, that the custom ones add such a nice touch to the ceremony and decor. Our church won't let us do one but if we were, I would go custom.

Never even thought that I should ask the church first - thanks so much for your reply!!

I'm going with the limo company - I trust them since they have had good reccos before. I also don't really have the extra budget to purchase a custome one. If we happen to win one I will be more then happy to take it lol but they are kinda pricey and im not that crafty to DIY it lol.

We can't have an aisle runner at our church. They Don't allow aisle runners or petals because its a slip and fall hazard

no prob. And definitely check with your church first about anything else regarding your decorating. Some churched may not even allow for pew decor so make sure you ask before you buy anything

YES! Definitely ask your church first especially if it's a Catholic church. I heard on these boards that the Diocese of Rockville Center are not allowing aisle runners anymore as they are a hazard. Just one more thing they try to control. LOL

i am going to use the one that the limo is providing to us. while i think a custom one would be nice in theory, i don't know what iw ould do withit afterwards and i wouldn't be able to justify the money spent on one. and yes! check with your church to make sure this is allowed!
