Custom Stamps

Anybody ordering custom stamps? I went to the post office to see how much it cost to mail my invitation and they didn't have 1 stamp to cover the charge. I would have to buy more than one stamp. So they said to order your stamps from stamps.om or zazzle.

Anyone ordering stamps?

Custom Stamps

In a case like that you might want to order custom ones. My best friend just sent her invites out and sent her mother to the post office. She came back with George Washington stamps. Her theme is not Early America.

Custom Stamps

I looked into custom postage and it cost so much more. I just did the 2 rose stamps. Mine was also 87 cents to mail so the post office told me unless I wanted to pay custom prices, I'd have to get two of the rose ones. Im not sure what they are individually though

Yeah, we wanted to do cute custom stamps, but it just didn't make sense money-wise. They were pretty expensive, just for a stamp.
If you're looking for something different--there are reallllllly pretty, new weddings stamps. They have different colored flowers in a bo-k and it has the matching RSVP stamp too. I was obsessed with them, but they came out at like, the end of March... and I was mailing my invitations out at the end of February. At that point, I was so fed up with stamps that I just took the roses for the invites and the wedding cakes for the RSVPS. They all got to where they needed to go!

Btw, larlynn - your comment had me

Re: Custom Stamps

I used two of the $0.66 cake stamps, it looked nice and is still cheaper then custom stamps on zazzle. Plus the custom stamps from zazzle say 'zazzle' on them and IMO they don't look as nice as the plain cake stamps.

Use two of the $.46 rose stamps. They are from the wedding collection.

Ahhh the same thing happened to me! I already bought the boring roses and they came out with cute ones. I bought pretty spring ones off the USPS website for thank you cards though!
