So, I'm sitting here posting away, and my dad gets a phone call from the alarm company from his shop. He's already asleep, so I said, you stay, it's probably a bogus call.... I'll go check it out.

Wouldn't ya know..... A couple of days away from Xmas, and the jerks stole probably about 2 grand worth of stuff from my dad's shop, and broke his glass door....

i really dislike people a lot sometimes. only justice is... my dad finally got sensible, and installed a video system, and wouldn't you know it... the son-of-a-b**** was caught fingering everything w/o gloves on!!!

I can't wait til they catch the little s***!!!!!!!!!!!

wanna know the terrible part? with regards to what jennbaby said.... what he stole was cigarettes (and only them luckily), but the cops were asking my dad about the insurance thing, and my dad was telling the cops that it's very difficult to do with the cigarette companies because once you get insurance, the company tends to drop you - i guess showing a need for insurance tends to show a problem area??? so, no jennbaby.... no insurance.

the cop was telling him though that the best thing for him to do was to put up shatterproof glass & maybe even go as far as putting up the pull down cages for the shop....

good news though.... my dad told me that in the footage, it appears that the guy may not have been wearing any gloves, so if that is the case, then that heightens the possibility for capture!!!!!

I hope the police are able to catch him. Things like this gets me so mad - how dare anyone think it's ok to destroy and steal someone's property.

Sorry to hear about this. Wouldn't it be great if this footage was shown on TV or a few scenes were printed in the paper? That would be sweet revenge so everyone would know what this punk looks like and what he did days before Xmas!
