This is helpful. I went to Michael's the other day and was so overwhelmed with the choices and items I would need to make it on my own, so I don't think I can do it :-( I am still contemplating doing real flowers or silk. Thanks again!

Don't worry so much. You have plenty of time, your wedding isn't for 2 years! Enjoy being engaged! It goes by so fast. I am planning everything in 7 months. It is as stressful as you make it to be. Relax! Why would you want silk flowers anyway, I'm just curious?

I thought silk would be cheaper but I am finding that with the difficulty in making them myself and all the work involved in what I am looking for its not doable for me. Plus it is coming out more expensive then I thought to do silk. The smell of flowers is what I know I will miss if I go the silk route. Does your contact own a florist or is solo?

Liz will work with your budget. Let her know what is comfortable for you and she will let you know what she can do for that. Be aware, I have seen her flowers online and met with her in person but have never used her. I saw many photos at her house and all were beautiful. I like her attention to detail. She works alone out of her house. My budget was about $1,000 I'm sure you could do it for less with less expensive flowers(I have lots of roses)

My flowers, 2 bm, table flowers in pumpkins(10-11), 7 bout., 3 cor., dais flowers, flowers for cake and delivery & setup. I got a more expensive quote from burtons,but saw them first. Used their info to assure a good price because they have a good rep. for good prices.
