Dad has passed away. My 3/27 wedding is being postponed. Feeling very down.

My father's cancer spread the last week of February and he passed away on March 11. I can't even express what I am going through right now. He was supposed to walk me down the aisle on Saturday. I feel broken. I'm not even sure why I'm writing this, but somehow I feel that I needed to tell you all since you've been so kind to me.

We are trying to pick up the pieces. My FH has taken control of everything for the wedding. He has rescheduled it to August 1st for us. Our vendors have been so wonderful. They applied all deposits to our new wedding date. I'm scared for that day though...how will I ever get down the aisle without my dad?

Hope all of the other 3/27 brides have a beautiful day. I'll be thinking of you.

I am so sorry that this happened! I hope your family is getting through this. It won't be the same on your wedding day but your dad will be looking down on you and would want you to feel happy I'm sure!

I have chills running up and down my body. I am so sorry for your loss. Stay strong and realize that he really will be right by you giving you away. What you carry in your heart is far stronger than him physically being there. I am so sorry for your loss and you are in my prayers!
