Dad wants to see the dress?

Dad wants to see the dress?

So the great news is I FOUND MY DRESS!!! I went to bridal reflections yesterday, tried on like 20 dresses and then I found THE ONE. I'm in love with it!!
Anyway, here is my question: I'm bringing my future mother in law back to BR this weekend so that she can see it and my dad asked me if he could come along. I though that this was so sweet, but I don't know if dads usually see their daughter's wedding dress before the wedding? I know that the groom isnt supposed to see it but is there any rule for a dad?
Has anyone ever brought their dad to the bridal salon to see them in their dress?

Lemme know girls...thanks!!

I don't think theres a rule about dad's. I dont have a dress yet, but I would definitely bring my dad if he wanted to come. That is so cute!!!

I dont think there a rule ~ my dad wanted to see mine but I want him to be surprised ~ this is the day he has been waiting for a long time is for his only daughter to get married and i wanted to make the morning of my wedding day a special one for my parents... before i get married ~ so I chose not to show my dad only the mom's, moh and my BM's that is about it!

Dads can see it but know this, Bridal Reflections wont let men (or children) back to the fitting areas.

I say go for it!! My dad doesnt want to see the dress until it is on me on the wedding day - But that is the same with the RH - He doesn't want to see it until the day of the wedding.

my dad is so nuts about this....i had to try on my gown for my gramma and my dad was like freaking out because he didn't want to see it...I think it's so cute that he want's to see it only on that day....but he's a re-re....idk if he realizes he will be taking pics with me the day of before the church lollllllllllllllllll i love my dad!!

I think that's sweet that he wants to see the dress. I am pretty sure that it's okay for him to see it.

My dad opted not to see me before the wedding, but my MIL did and so did my mom and my grandma.
Good Luck. Either way you'll look totally different on your wedding day.
