Dad wants to see the dress?

So the great news is I FOUND MY DRESS!!! I went to bridal reflections yesterday, tried on like 20 dresses and then I found THE ONE. I'm in love with it!!
Anyway, here is my question: I'm bringing my future mother in law back to BR this weekend so that she can see it and my dad asked me if he could come along. I though that this was so sweet, but I don't know if dads usually see their daughter's wedding dress before the wedding? I know that the groom isnt supposed to see it but is there any rule for a dad?
Has anyone ever brought their dad to the bridal salon to see them in their dress?

My Dad came with me when I went dress shopping and it was so cute cause he literally was the only man in the store.
He was trying so hard to pretend like he knew the difference between satin and taffetta, a-line and ball-gown, mermaid and picks-ups, lol. But he held his own ! And its a day I'll never forget : )
