Very sad. I feel very bad for the child who is 14 years old to lose both his mommy and daddy.

Dana Reeve, the widow of Christopher Reeve, has died of lung cancer, according to published reports. She was 44.
Reeve died late Monday of lung cancer, Kathy Lewis, president and CEO of the Christopher Reeve Foundation, confirmed to the Associated Press.
'On behalf of the entire Board of Directors and staff of the Christopher Reeve Foundation, we are extremely saddened by the death of Dana Reeve, whose grace and courage under the most difficult of circumstances was a source of comfort and inspiration to all of us,' Lewis said in a statement.

This is an extremely sad news...44 years old...so young...Im trying to convince my FH in every possible way to stop smoking...he smokes so much and I dont even want to think about if something bad was to happen to him. My aunt is going through lung cancer as we speak...48 years old and a smoker for over 30 years...

Smoking is no good at all. Keep trying to convince them to stop.

that is so messed up.. the woman works for years to keep her husband happy, then loses him, now this...... why do bad things happen like this?

That's really sad I was just reading that. People who smell 2nd hand smoke have a greater chance to get lung cancer than t the person smoking.... because they blow out some of the smoke where as when we enhale it we don't .....
She was a remarkable lady!!! I pray that her son will keep his parents spirit alive and well!

She was remarkable. Very sad. One little family that was on top of the world at one time had all this hardship, and a child with no parents.
