Dance lesson prices? (Repost)

I was just wondering if you would mind telling me how much you paid/are paying for dance lessons for you and FH. We are thinking about doing it and got a quote from someone that does it out of their home and I want to see if it is comparable to what other people have done.

We are paying $120 a couple for 4 lessons. We just finished taking Swing and we're starting the 'wedding dance' dance class next.
They're called cooperative dance partners. They're in So. Setauket, I got them form the vendor boards on here.

Is it a private lesson or is it with a group?

We took ours at Dance Manhattan (dancemanhattan.com) in the city. If you mention that you saw them on city search they give you a new student discount. They also discount you if you are a student (i.e. college, grad school). For four lessons it was $50 for me and $70 for DF. They were group lessons. You did not have to switch partners. We really enjoyed them. I think that we will still take private lessons right before the wedding, but I have to study for the bar exam so those will have to wait until the end of July .
