Sounds very typical of many of the big dance places. They try to pursuad you to believe they are the best and if you want the best you have to pay! I had the same experience at Arthur Murray. After over $700 I didn't feel I had learned much. Then we went to the manager's office and were given packages that started at 2k. No thanks! At the time we were just doing it for fun. We're in the market now for some first dance lessons as well. Someone on here FMd me that she teaches - but then she and her profiled disappeared.
