FH and I have very different taste in music: he likes anything from the 70's, I'm a fan of the stuff I hear on the radio. Any suggestions for dance music? We booked a band, and I'd like to give them an idea of what we want to hear. Thanks!
I dont really know anything about bands, I am a dj girl. Sorry
They usually have a song list. If not, you can google each song era and take the top 10 from each decade, have them do some 70's and some songs from the TOP 40. What band did you book , I'm searching for one.
what band did you book?
Def see if they can give you a cd and listen to it together and see what you both like. Also, ask for a song list and again see if there is stuff you both like. Also, try to have music you both enjoy and then throw in some classic slow dances for the 'adults' :)
We booked the Mystic. I loved them when I we booked. But they play a lot od 70's stuff, and I wanted to give them ideas for songs from this decade. Thanks for your help, girls!

Mystic is awesome! They definitely play more than 70s music. I heard them play at Sutton Place last month. And I know they definitely have a lengthy song list on their website. We try and go see them every couple of months. They are pretty reasonable compared to other bands too, but we went with a DJ. You will not be disappointed![]()
