Oh jeez.... I'm getting choked up even reading these songs!! I'm never going to make it through without sobbing!!
We're using In My Life by the Beatles. It's appropriate and short!!

Re: Dance with Daddy
My father is bent on using 'Daddys little girl' and I am struggling with it. I will probably give in...He wants it because he thinks that is what you are 'supposed' to dance to (I guess back in the day that is what everyone used?? ) The worst part: I love my Dad, but I am not his little girl...one of my other sisters plays that role! I keep telling him to wait for her wedding to do it, but she is 17 and it won't be anytime soon.
I think I will give him a CD with a few choices to sway him. I love Stevie Wonder 'Is'nt she lovely' So upbeat and fun to dance to!

Re: Dance with Daddy
We're dancing to a waltz. I asked my dad what he wanted to dance to and that's what he said. Who am I to argue?!

We danced to 'lullabye' by Billy Joel. I love that song and the lyrics are so sweet.

Re: Dance with Daddy
I do like Wonderful World too, but its probably a toss up w/ Just the Way you Are by Billy Joel or Unforgettable by Natalie and Nat--which is what Im probably going to end up choosing........
