Dancing Lesson

Is anyone taking dancing lessons? If you did, who did you go with and were the lessons expensive?

Re: Dancing Lesson

We take lessons with John from Ballroom Dance Long Island. He's an LIW vendor. He charges $280 for 4 lessons. He gives an introductory 1/2 hour lesson for free. I highly recommend him.

Dance City in Patchogue. They are an excellent dance studio for ballroom. I am a dance teacher and I took my dance lessons there. I took a couple of ballroom lessons there with FH. The teachers are excellent. If you need anymore info please FM me.

Wherever you are on Long Island. He is affiliated with a bunch of studios so more than likely he has one near you.

We went to him last night for the first time and we already learned so much! I made 2 other dance lesson appointments with him. My wedding is only a little over a week away. I wish we started earlier. He really is great!

Re: Dancing Lesson

i'm living in NJ now with my FH and we took dance lessons through an adult education program offered at a local hs in the area. I know they do that also all over LI and i would def look into that if you want to save money! Our class was pretty small and we learned so much and had fun! We spent $60 for 8 weeks of ballroom and $30 dollars for 4 weeks of swing and latin(separately). We loved the swing class!!! We didnt want it to end, FH was def surprised he loved it so much:)
