Danielle's Dog - Buddy Died Yesterday 8-11-04

When I got home yesteday from work, Danielle told me that Buddy...The 8 year old black and Grey Yorkie died. He was the best dog anyone could own. He was the most loveable lap dog ever....He was like my best friend....I never had a dog to get so attached too....and I did really get attached to this dog. I miss him so much.

Yesterday morning, Danielles parents came downstairs because the older dog, Benji was barking a lot....So they went to the cage and found buddy on his side breathing heavy...and gasping...They took him to the emergency room for animals but it was too late. He died on the way....I never got a chance to say goodbye to him...I cannot believe he is gone. I so wanted to take a few pictures at the house with him on saturday....and now I cannot. He loved me....Everytime I came in the house he would spin around....and juump on my lap and just want to be with me and play....He was the same way with Danielle. It was her dog....I am so sad.

I am at Danielle's house now and her other dog is just walking around the house with a lost look on his face. I wa petting him before and he looked happy for the time but as soon as I finished he was sad again. He still has not barked since yesterday....It feels so wierd to be here...especially here in front of the computer and not have BUDDY laying behind me taking a nap or sitting on my lap licking my hand when I try to type....WOW I cannot believe how many memories I had with this dog in such a short period of time.....It never dawned on me that BUDDY wouldnt be around to see Danielle and I get married or to be here when we bring the kids over to see Grandma and Grandpa....

I am so sorry to hear about Buddy. You are both in my thoughts, it's so horrible to lose a pet, they mean so much to you and never do anything bad

guys,

I am so sorry. I lost my yorkie Reggie (my screen name) last summer. He was the light of my life and my pride and joy. I know how the both of you feel.

Just remember this, he was a beautiful dog and he is waiting for the both of you by the rainbow bridge with his tail wagging back and forth.

But, still enjoy your wedding day. Just keep buddy in your heart!!
