So tomorrow afternoon it's supposed to rain and I'm going to be riding the crimson wave. Anyway, I was scheduled to go try on my dress and pick it up (I'm taking it somewhere else for alterations). Think I should reschedule or is it ok to pick it up in the rain?

It's fine. They should give it to you in a big plastic garment bag. It was raining when I picked mine up and I didn't have any problems.
