DATES!

Sooo i love CLM;we know it's THE ONE!! I want an outdoor ceremony. I know it could rain in August and be 70 in Oct; you never know with this weather. Still, end of Oct is more chance of an indoor; however, the indoor chapel is nice...

I would rather a Friday because I want people to party and drink and not worry about work on Monday. hahaha what do you think??

Opinions on Sunday weddings? Thanks!

i vote for Friday in Oct.

i'm all for sunday weddings!! maybe it's 'cause i'm jewish and that was our only choice...but i definitely say go for august!!!

While Sunday's can be tricky, I think August is best.

I'd also rather go to an outside ceremony in August as opposed to October.

would you consider Sunday afternoon? that's what FH and I are doing (also in August) ...

i think Oct would not be a good outside weather day.

I say Sunday ( not that I am bias or anything, having a Sunday wedding and my bday in August so its my fav month )

I dont think there is a problem with a Sunday wedding. It also allows u to take less days off work before

August 22 is my birthday.

The October date is the day before mine.

I think you have a better chance of beautiful weather in August. :]

And you can know I'm always celebrating your anniversary for the rest of our lives LOL

Ceremony at 430.
CH 5-6
Reception 6-10

Too late? Dinner at 10pm on Sunday is way too late.

Ahhh, but this is exactly how I don't want my guests to feel.

i voted sunday in august, if your priority is doing the outdoor ceremony and cocktail then you have a much better chance of nice weather in august

also, friday ceremony depending on time, people may notbe able to get to in tim after work so the whole point of it might be lost

I personally did not choose it because I didnt want my bridal party and family to have to take off of work (I felt like if they choose to take off on Monday following, thats their choice but it wouldnt be necessary if they didnt want to). I also wanted people to be able to attend my ceremony and if I got married on a Friday, most people wouldnt. I think though if you are having your ceremony at the rh, it different because those that show to your reception will almost always show to the ceremony as well...plus it could start later so its doable. For your situation, I would choose a Friday!

Nope. No Fridays or Sat in July/August/Sept in the downstairs room which I need because I'm having 175-200 people.

i voted friday!
we had to make the same decision and went with friday bc people could stay til the end and not leave early bc they have work the next morning. plus people still have the entire weekend to do w/e they want to do.
