Re: David's Bridal..
This is a terrible association to have, but whenever I hear David's I swear I remember a few years ago where there was a FLEA problem in one of their stores. Anyone else remember that?
And to add a good thing, a couple years ago I had to get a bridesmaid dress (separates) from David's and the bride ordered them very early. So a week before the wedding when I tried it on again I had grown too b for the top. I called the David's in Queens and they looked around and found another top I could wear in a bigger size. I ran over there, they took my old one and gave me a credit for the difference!

Re: David's Bridal..
I have mixed feelings there also... Last year I was in a wedding (which was in Arizona).. the bridesmaids were scattered all across the US, so it just made sense to use Davids. We ordered our dresses on our own (but she gave us the style numbers..) So off I went to Davids in Carle Place (now Westbury).. I told them why i was there, and they showed me which one to try one. Thats where the customer service ended.. No one checked to see if I was ok, or to see if I needed help 'guessing' what size to order (since they had a 4 and a 18 left in the dress.. neither coming close!) So I guessed and when I went to pick up the dress when they called me, I drove right over and in the twenty minutes time that lapsed, they LOST the dress.. No joke. They have no idea what happened to it... so they had to order it again.
THis year, I am in another bridal party and have had a great experience with them, well, I must credit their saleswoman Malasia with that. She was nothing but helpful every step of the way, from the bride to each bridesmaid. Very attentive, and she spent all of it 1on1. We didn't have to share her. So thats my story....
Because my girls were all local, I decided to go with a smaller salon. Otherwise, I might have used them...maybe
