I went to Lake Grove and it was really nice. You have to make an appointment. I worked with Karen and she was very nice- not pushy at all. Good luck!

I went to the one in Lake Grove. I used Ellie, she was very helpful. I am going back in a few weeks to order my dress.

The one by the Source mall is good. Very accomodating with appointments too. My girls are getting their dresses there!

Lake Grove is the best one in my opinion! Make an appointment though so you make sure you will be helped.

Re: David's Bridal
I would not recommend the one in Westbury. I had a horrible experience with them and the customer service was atrocious.
I would look into other places. That's just my opinion. My friend got her dress there. It was beautiful but there wasn't a cap on alts. Her dress was 600 but for her first fitting she paid over 250 in alts. I think that's crazy. So if you go there and you like it just see if they can put a cap on the alts. Otherwise I don't think you are getting a bargain. Plus, there was a $10.50 for a garment bag to hold the dress in instead of the plastic bag.
Try phylis from Bridal Elegance

Re: David's Bridal
Try the Lake Grove store first...it's much nicer than the Westbury store. Also, I had two bridesmaids order their dresses from that store and they had it in within 10 days!!!!!!

Re: David's Bridal
I went to the one in Westbury. I was hesitant about going there because I heard such horror stories. I figured maybe my experience would be different. It was. I was very happy there and I ended up getting my dress from them. NOW.....alterations, I dont think I will go there to get my dress altered.

I agree....If you're at David's bridal on a weekday. your service is a lot better. I got my dress there during the summer on a weekday. It also helped that I fell in love with the very first dress I tried on...just for argument sake I tried on a few others....

Re: David's Bridal
Do you have an idea of what you're looking for? I always knew what type of dress I wanted! You will just KNOW when you are in it and you dont want to take it off!!! They have plenty of mirrors there too!! Lake Grove is about 40 minutes or so from Westbury. If you're coming from rockaway I would say try to make it to Westbury during the week, I think they're open until 9. I also have to say my dress was in within a month, and I love it.
